Big birthdays call for big adventures

Tanya and Myles are both turning 50 in 2027, and they're celebrating the way they do everything — with people who feel like family, somewhere absolutely beautiful. Top of the Year of Adventure list? A flotilla through Sardinia with their favourite humans. That means you.

This isn't a stuffy charter trip or a race to anywhere. It's a week of turquoise water, Italian wine, spontaneous swim stops, and the kind of evenings that turn into stories you'll still be telling at 60.

First things first

So… what is a flotilla?

Imagine a group road trip — but everyone gets their own car (boat), you pick your own music (playlist), and every stop is a postcard-worthy Italian harbour. That's a flotilla.

You charter your own yacht with your own crew of friends or family. You sail together in a loose group, arrive at the same gorgeous spots, then split up or hang together however you feel. Total freedom, zero loneliness.

Your own boat

Your yacht, your cabins, your people. No sharing with strangers — just the crew you chose.

🗺️

Easy daily sails

1.5 to 3 hours of sailing each morning between gorgeous ports. Short, scenic, and genuinely fun.

🏊

Group swim stops!

All boats raft up together for mid-passage swim stops in crystal-clear Sardinian water. The kids will lose their minds.

🥂

Happy hours on deck

The whole flotilla reconvenes for sundowners in the evening. Drinks, snacks, and the best sunset views in the Mediterranean.

🏖️

Afternoons are yours

Explore the village, nap in the sun, find the best gelato. Or just float in the harbour. Nobody's keeping score.

👨‍✈️

Skipper on board

Every boat comes with a pro skipper — so zero sailing experience required. Just show up and enjoy the ride.

How big is the flotilla?
2Minimum boats
11Maximum boats

We need at least 2 boats to make it a flotilla, and we can fit up to 11 boats in our group. So grab your people and claim your spot — this one will fill up fast.

Sardinia's rocky coastline with brilliant turquoise water and Tavolara island in the distance

"Short sails every morning, and the whole afternoon yours to explore."

Life on the flotilla

Life on board

A typical day in paradise

No alarms. No agendas. No one waiting on you. Here's roughly how the magic unfolds.

☀️
Morning
Coffee on deck
Breakfast aboard, lines cast off whenever you feel like it. The skipper's got the navigation — you've got the croissants.
Mid-morning
Set sail (1.5–3 hrs)
Easy coastal sailing in warm Sardinian breeze. The kids help hoist the sails. You just look incredible.
🏊
En route
Swim stop!
All boats drop anchor together in some impossibly clear cove. Everyone in the water. Absolute chaos. Absolutely perfect.
🏖️
Afternoon
Arrive & explore
Tie up in a new harbour. Wander the village, find the best gelato, or just float in the cockpit with a book. Your call entirely.
🥂
Sundowners
Happy hour!
All the boats gather for drinks on the dock. Someone always brings something better than expected.
🍝
Evening
Dinner ashore
The whole group, a long table at a waterfront trattoria, and pasta that will ruin all other pasta forever.

The vibe

Your space. Our adventure.

This is the thing that makes a flotilla so perfect: you get the group experience AND your own private retreat. Here's how it actually works.

🚢

Your boat = your world

Sleep, eat, and live on your own yacht. Your schedule, your menu, your kids' bedtime. We don't knock unless invited.

🤝

Friends who feel like family

Tanya and Myles have carefully curated this crew. Everyone on this flotilla is someone they adore. You're in good company.

👧

Kids absolutely welcome

The boats are safe, the water is calm, and kids on a flotilla are the happiest kids alive. Instant best friends, endless adventures.

🌊

Group swim stops

The best part of every day — all the boats anchor up together in a secret cove and everyone jumps in. Pure joy.

🎉

Group happy hours

Every evening starts with everyone on the dock or rafted together. The golden hour, good drinks, and no agenda.

🏡

Alone time when you need it

Want a quiet night on your own boat? Nobody will guilt you. This is a holiday, not a military operation.

Aerial view of a Sardinian beach — white sand, turquoise water, granite rocks and pine trees

Cannigione, Sardinia — Gateway to the Maddalena Archipelago

Crystal water, granite islands, medieval hilltop towns, and the best seafood in Italy. This coastline is meant to be explored by boat.

Choose your yacht

Pick the boat that fits your crew

Every boat comes with a professional skipper — so you don't need sailing experience, just a group of people you like being stuck at sea with. First, figure out which type of boat is right for you.

Classic sailing

Monohull

A traditional single-hulled sailboat — the classic shape you picture when someone says "sailboat." It has one hull that cuts through the water, and when the wind fills the sails, the boat heels (leans) to one side. That tilt is part of the magic! It's the real sailing feeling — exhilarating, dynamic, and genuinely fun once you embrace it.

✅ You'll love a monohull if…

  • ⛵ You want to feel like you're really sailing
  • 🌊 You love that leaning, gliding feeling
  • 💰 You're watching your budget — monohulls cost less
  • 👨‍👩‍👧 Your crew is 4–8 people

⚠️ Good to know: The boat will lean while sailing. Most people love it — but if you're prone to seasickness, take note!

🛥️
Stable & spacious

Catamaran

A catamaran has two hulls connected by a wide deck — think floating platform rather than traditional boat. Because of that wide stance, it barely tilts at all. It sails almost completely flat and steady, even in choppier conditions. It also has an enormous amount of living space — wide decks, big saloon, and two separate hulls to spread out in.

✅ You'll love a catamaran if…

  • 😌 You get seasick or have limited sea legs
  • 🧘 You want a rock-steady, flat ride
  • 🏠 You want maximum space and comfort
  • 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 You have young kids or anyone who gets queasy

💚 Sea legs optional: The cat stays level even when sailing hard. It's the most comfortable way to be on the water.

Tanya's honest take: If your crew is totally new to sailing or anyone gets motion sickness easily — go catamaran. If you want that proper sailing adventure where the boat heels and you feel the wind — a monohull is pure magic. Both are incredible. You really can't go wrong. 🤍
